Mulu National Park Borneo Malaysia

This Park is home to one of the longest networks of caves in the world. The 52,864-ha park contains seventeen vegetation zones. UNESCO declared “Mulu National Park” a World Heritage Site in 2005. 


Amazing clearwater Cave is one of the top ten longest caves in the world with a length of over 189 kilometers. The Ministry of Tourism in Malaysia is now trying to get Mulu National Park, Borneo listed as Global Geopark.


This amazing place provides significant natural habitat for a wide range of plant and animal species. Every evening, millions of bats fly out of the cave which is a spectacular sight. The Mulu National Park’s facilities are managed by Borsarmulu.



Several tour packages are offered to Mulu Borneo. You can go there by either boat or air. Malaysia Airlines operates three daily flights from Miri into Mulu. To go Mulu National Park you can also take the express boat from Kuala Baram to Marudi for three hours. Months between July and September are the best time to visit Mulu.
